Sh30bn Iluluwe Golf Estate Unveiled in Athi River
Proposed estate is targeting middle to upper income earners working at Konza City.
A Sh30 billion gated community housing project has been unveiled in Athi River, near the proposed multi-billion dollar Konza Technology Park.
Dubbed Iluluwe Golf Estate, the development will be set on a 1,000-acre piece of private land and will accommodate about 2,000 households, an 18-hole golf course, an ICT centre, a healthcare facility and a commercial centre.
The development which is targeting middle to upper-income earners working at the Konza ICT Park is meant to address the rising demand for gated community housing around the country.
“This project is meant to bridge the annual housing deficit in Nairobi while meeting the rising demand for gated communities,” said Iluluwe Ltd director John Mutua.
