Dubai to Host the World’s Tallest Residential Tower

The luxury 517-metre skyscraper is scheduled to open in 2028.

Construction is well underway on the Six Senses Residences in Dubai, which is expected to be the world’s tallest residential tower, soaring 517 metres.

Set in the Dubai Marina district, the 122-storey tower, belonging to the Dubai property developer Select Group, is 25% complete and scheduled to open in 2028.

The development, which is under the supervision of WSP Middle East and Woods Bagot, will mark a new chapter in ultra-luxury living on completion, according to the owner.

“The extraordinary tower provides an unparalleled living experience, effortlessly blending with the dynamic energy and vibrancy of Dubai’s global metropolis. 

“Reflecting a shared philosophy between its design and ‘The City of the Future’, Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina presents itself on the world stage as the tallest residential tower of its time,” Select Group says on the project’s website.

With a slender outline, the outer facade of the building embodies meticulous elegance, effortlessly blending into the Dubai Marina skyline.

The building has 251 homes: two-to-four-bedroom deluxe houses, four-bedroom half-floor penthouses, and four-and-five-bedroom duplex and triplex Sky Mansions.

The residences offer stunning views of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Golf Course, Dubai Harbour Beachfront, Ain Dubai, and Blue Waters.

The Six Senses Residences features a 109th-floor Skydeck, cardio, and strength gyms, virtual cycling and boxing studios, an infinity pool, ice baths, saunas, a sound healing room, massage suites, and indoor and outdoor cinemas.

Upon completion, the tower will claim the title of the tallest residential building in the world from Central Park Tower in New York City, US, which topped out at 472 metres in 2019.
