Superior Homes Kenya has unveiled a new luxury estate within Swara Plains Conservancy in Machakos County as it seeks to offer classic bush living to residents.

Dubbed Lukenya Wildlife Estate, the 100-acre project comprises high-end homes and self-build half-acre, one-acre, and one-and-a-half-acre plots that will be developed under predetermined architectural guidelines.

The estate will offer investors an opportunity to enjoy scenic views and wildlife that roam freely around the hills and throughout the extensive conservancy.

According to Superior Homes chief executive Shiv Arora, the project showcases the developer’s pledge to develop quality real estate products for its investors.

“[Lukenya Wildlife Estate] seeks to cater to investors who love the thought of becoming one with nature as it is defined by tranquility and ample outdoor space within Swara Plains, yet it is within easy reach of Nairobi City and Machakos town,” Arora said.

The project is located 20km from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Lukenya Wildlife Estate is a controlled project with master-designed architecture offering “outdoor living and lifestyle with no walls between properties.”

Architectural guidelines

According to the company, residential houses within the estate will have a streamlined design that makes it easy for them to integrate into the surroundings.

“Ecologists have mapped each property, identifying the places where structures are permitted. To ensure that the architecture meshes perfectly with the landscape there are architectural guidelines,” the company says on its website.

All the houses will have homogeneous structural designs and no direct light sources will be visible from the exterior of the buildings to minimise light pollution.

Lukenya Wildlife Estate presents a chance for neighbourhood cooperation, allowing residents to work together to maximize what the entire estate and Conservancy has to offer,” the company adds.

The price guidelines for the property are yet to be made public.
