The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) has embarked on two capital projects that seek to modernize the central core and the public face of its 140-acre workplace in a manner befitting of the UN Headquarters in Africa.

The projects, whose finer details are set to be made public, include the Replacement of Office Blocks A-J and the Renovation and Expansion of the Conference Facility Project in the Gigiri district of Nairobi.

To this effect, UNON has organised a virtual seminar to provide vendors with details on the scope and indicative timeline of these projects.

The seminar will also provide an overview of how to do business with the United Nations, which includes the UN Procurement Principles, Vendor Registration, and related information pertinent to bidding in UN tenders.

The free event will take place on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10.00-12 noon (EAT).

The UNON has extended an invitation for Seminar registration to vendors who have been in business for the past 10 years or more and operate in any of the following categories:

  • Architectural and Engineering Design services,
  • Programme and Quantity Surveying Services,
  • Risk Management Services
  • Large-Scale Construction Services.

The registration form can be accessed using the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/4bkKtu1X3w.
